Jacqueline Canard
Professor Jacqueline Canard has more than 20 years of experience as a language instructor. She has a B.A. in Education from Universidad Católica Andrés Bello in Caracas, Venezuela, and a Master’s Degree in English as a Second Language and in Applied Linguistics from the University of Kansas. She has taught at the University of Kansas, University of Pennsylvania (PENN) and Broward College. As Academic Coordinator of Lingua Language Center at Broward College, she served as the Designated School Official (DSO) for SEVIS (F1 Visas) and was instrumental in obtaining initial ACCET accreditation for the institution. Jacqueline has ample experience in developing and delivering curriculum for students as well as providing staff development programs. Currently, she teaches English for Academic Purposes (EAP) at Broward College where she has been working since 2008.
