Professor Mildred Lopez has been teaching English as a Second Language for Academic Purpose for twenty years and Spanish as a Second Language for four years. She has a B.A. degree in Foreign Language from Florida International University and a certificate in Latin American Studies and an M.A. in Literature from Florida International University. She has taught at both Miami Dade College and Broward College, where she teaches EAP courses and SPN 1120/ SPN1121. She takes great pleasure and is very honored to be part of a network of professionals who help students not only in their acquisition of a new language but also in their acclimatation to the American culture.
